Our Story

We’ve been around for a while — through different names, faces, and more than a handful of memorable addresses.

Our first “office” was in a friend’s parents’ loft — cozy, full of promise — until it suddenly became the very first Momofuku Ramen Shop. (We like to think we brought good energy.) So, we packed our things and moved out. The next spot? Right above Basquiat’s last painting studio. After that came an editorial facility. Then, somehow, we found ourselves back above Basquiat’s space again — this time renting from our new friends at Transistor Studio, whom we met at the neighborhood bar. It was that kind of era. We grew, took over the whole floor, and eventually had to move again — to a bigger place a few blocks away. That office had a hand-operated elevator (run by the legendary Mr. Au, who seemed to have been there since forever) and a Shaolin temple downstairs frequented by the Wu-Tang Clan. True story.

There were a few more offices after that — each with its own stories, characters, and quirks. But you get the idea.

Through all the moves and changes, one thing has stayed the same: what we do, and why we do it.

We help our clients tell their stories. We cut through the noise, find the signal, and make sure beauty and clarity shake hands.

Every project matters. Every client’s our favorite. We always pull together the best people for the job — and you’ll never get the “B” team.
